Do I Need to Buy Spore?
I’m a pretty big time gamer, or more accurately, I was in my earlier years. Nowadays I’m usually to busy with school, this site, of the endless promotion of my merch (hint hint) to play many games. All that might have to change now though, because of this video:
That is a video of a game called Spore, the brainchild of legendary developer Will Wright. I’m not really up on exactly how the game plays, but it seems to involve evolution. There may be some issues with that, in fact.
But regardless of whether the game is scientifically accurate or not, you can apparently evolve/create your own Anomalocarid in it! That in and of itself makes the game almost irresistible to me!

I’ve only played the iPhone version. It was brief but amusing. The full version has been panned as being boring overall. Which makes me sad.
Oh no! So what you’re saying is that, on the basis of my Anomalocarid obsession, I might end up buying a game that isn’t even very good?!?
Considering it was in development for the better part of, like, a decade, I expected better.
There’s always piracy. But then I can imagine Will Wright cursing me for making him poor as he sits down to his meagre dinner of cold, thin gruel.
dropping by to say hi!take care!
gagay
Same here. I USED to be a major gamer but, now, I’m too caught up with school and life to care. Hearing the reference to something Paleo, I “perk” up. I think the ONLY games that I play now are Science Fiction and/or Paleo related. In fact, Spore actually sounds inriguing.
