So, I know it’s been a long while since the last comic. Exams in France are pretty intense (surtout si on ne parle que un peu de français), and comics kept being the one thing that I was going to do, but never actually did. But no more. I dusted off my graphics tablet (I have no idea how it got so much dust on it, this is the dustiest room ever) to get a fresh start for the New Year (Chinese New Year, but of course!).
As for the idea of the comic, it comes from a story I read a while ago on science daily. Basically, there was a study done that concluded that anomalocaris’ mouth did not have the strength to crack a trilobite exoskeleton. In fact, it couldn’t even close fully. I haven’t read the study so I don’t know if the story depicted the study accurately, or if the conclusion holds up to scrutiny. But it seemed like a good idea for a comic.
