In case you’re wondering, the Wheeler Survey, and the survey that W.J. Johnson was a part of, were USGS groups that explored and mapped the House Range before Charles Walcott went there. From what I can tell, Walcott was the first person to do major fossil collecting there.

    Well….I do think that Walcott still deserves some credit as he DID lead them there! Sure, he followed those who preceded him but he was the one who LED them there!

    and another thing… thats the second largest grup of trilobites ive seen in my imaganary life!
